It continues to be an incredible time to buy and sell a home here in Orange County. The market is definitely changing, and this fact is finally be reported in newspapers like the LA Times and The Wall Street Journal.
I have gathered data from June 2011 to end of June 2012 for all residential real estate activity in Orange County and posted it online.
The data shows a continued consistent drop of inventory by half year over year! Pending sales continue to increase month after month. In many areas there are more homes in escrow than are for sale.

It is obviously a seller’s market, and prices are stable and have been stable for some time. Inventory of higher-priced homes is on the rise.
